midwife

Do your doctor usually assign you a midwife or w.e how does tha go cause i a feel more comfortable knowing that i a have one

You make an appointment at an OB/GYN office that your insurance covers and whoever the doctor is that sees you is the midwife. Sometimes the doctors office has more than one midwife and you can see them all on different appointment's so you can meet them bc you never know who will be the delivering midwife on call when you go into labor. At least that's how it is where I am from

Call your insurance and ask them for midwives in your area covered under your policy. They will give you a list with numbers. You then call for availability. :)
