well the past two days crossing my fingers have been headache free..or atleast migraine free...i asked the doc today and they are still saying no to anything further very aggravating especially now knowing that there r things i can take.i really dont even wanna take the tylenol though and know if i had any other meds id probably hold out as long as i could b4 taking them anyways but i am needing to take the tylenol alot these days and i really just wanted to make sure that i cant take it too much.i mean i know every 4-6 hours but every day??honestly i only take 2 a day usually but i still get worried that day after day something could happen...
My doctor told me that if mine get really bad during my pregnancy, he would prescribe me Tylenol with codeine. He said it will knock me out but if I'm home sick with a migraine, it may be a better feeling than the migraine and I can just sleep! I go with the Tylenol and 1/2 a Coke. I also have one of those ice packs that goes over the eyes, and I sleep in my closet because it is completely dark! I have only had one since I found out I am pregnant. Good luck! They suck!
i have been trying my hardest tp stay away from the caffeine and at first i thoughti t might be withdrawals from it that im getting these headaches..good to know i can have some.im going to ask if i get the chance today about any other meds i did already but she kind of blew me off..im going in for blood work this morning so i will mention it again and see what happens.thank you guys.oh and i will be 17 weeks on wed..
Yes, it is alright to take thruout the day, just keep it at every 6 hrs. My doctor has actually given me medication for it. It's called Lopressor and is only 25mg which is lower than the normal lowest doseage.
it hasn't stopped my headaches but has helped them out. Also try drinking a normal soda w/caffeine 1-2x a day. You can safely have up to 300mg of caffeine a day.
Sorry about your migraines maybe it has something to do with your diet, or are you stress, working? Try a cool cloth on your head and relax. How many weeks are you? Maybe you could talk to your doctor again or get another opinion.
Okay info from my pregnancy book. Headaches can be caused by tension and anxiety or nasal congestion. If you find that you are suffering repeated headaches it can be the first sign that you are developing high blood pressure.
