miscarriage queston

I'm a mother of 3 and just had a miscarriage on 12-12 the first one I've ever had. I'm not bleeding a lot but the doctors said I've already passed the baby but I'm have frequent and loose bowel movements and have been yesterday and today. Is that normal and if so how long will the loose bowel movements last?

You can try using anti-diarrheal medicines such as pepto and the like.

Hello,
Im so sorry for your loss.

Loose bowel movements are pretty common after miscarriage under 12 weeks. Generally caused as a natural reaction to distress & discomfort.
It should only last a few days & then should subside.
Drink plenty of water to cleanse your system-this should help.

Once again Im so sorry. Try to stay positive-I know its hard but it will happen for you & now you have you little one watching over you.

Take care x

Did your doctor do any blood tests to check your hCG levels? Loose bowels are common while pregnant, and if you have any hCG remaining it can cause them to be loose.
