What are the signs to watch out for? I just had a positive hpt sunday which would have put me at 5 weeks today. I started spotting brown saturday evening before I tested. Yesterday (Monday) I started cramping like I was starting my period. The pain got so severe that I was doubled over. I had pain in my lower back that felt like what I would imagine being stabbed would feel like. The brown spotting turned bright red. I had such bad cramps all night that I couldn't sleep. This morning when I went to the bathroom I had a lot of clotting and dark red discharge.  Later this morning I passed a.big, stringy grayish pink clot and more smaller gray/pink clots and had massive cramps. I'm still bleeding but the cramps aren't as bad. I also had a very bad headache sunday and monday.

i would go to doctor or er right away

bright blood and clots are never a good indication i would go to hospital asap so they can figure out if u passed the fetus or r experiancing a m/c ive had 2 and thats wht i went threw w out the cramping i just had the blood and clots and it was my body passing the fetus..good luck hoepit all wrks out

If it was bright red and clotting, then it's not a good sign. Go to the doc hun.
