missed period 2 negative pregnancy tests

I had a D & C in December 2009. I got my first period after the D and C at the end of Jan 2010 which was light and then my period came 25 days later in Feb which was alot different from my previous period (regular bleeding, clotting). I was expecting my period around the 25 day mark in March which was last Tuesday March 23 nothing came and then came day 28 and nothing now I'm on day 32 on 3/23/10 and still no period. I decided to take a pregnancy test when I got home from work today and it was negative so I took another one just in case and that was also negative. I dont understand why they are negative and my period is late. The tests that I took are to expire 3/10 so i dont know if they are still good or if they expired at the beginning of the month. I dont know how long i should go before i test again. In a way i want to call the dr and find out. I have no feelings like I am about to get my period. My boobs are sore and i dont remember them being as sore as they are last month. Can someone help me

Missing a period for 2 months could happen but when I have never been this late before and I have always been right on schedule...thats i doubt that mine is the same reason

I missed period for more than 2 months and was going mad with pregnancy tests (did about 8 of them) i was really going to belive i'm pregnant till my period showed up last friday!!! So it's unlikely that you are pergnant if you got negative tests, but you can always retest in few days.

Same here. I'm in the same situation. I'm a week late and still nothing. I've been getting alot of cramping the past 2 weeks and still no period. I took a test on Monday morning and it was also negative. My boyfriend wants me to take another test this weekend if I still haven't gotten my period. I have also heard the same thing about the hormone levels.
I hope that is the case for me. Let me know what your outcome is. I'm so curious to find out other people's cases. It is good to know that I'm not the only one in this situation.

My mother told me to do the same. She says every woman is different and sometime it takes longer for the elevated hormone levels to show up on a pregnancy test.

I'm in the same sort of situation and i have been told to wait a few more days and then take another also it is best to  test with your 1st wee of the day. Gud luck xx
