mucinex

Can you take mucinex while pregnant?

My doctor gave me a list of things that us pregnant women can take.. Fever/ Headache: Tylenol or Extra Strength Tylenol
Cough: Plain Robitissin, Robitussin DM
Sore Throat: Cough Drops, Chloraseptic Spray, Lozenges
Sinus Congestion: Sudafed, Actifed, Tylenol Cold & Sinus, Claritin, Claritin D, Benadryl, Vapor Rub, Chlor-Trimeton, Humidifier, Tavist D, Breathe-Right Nasal Strips

That's why I always kinda just tried to fight through the allergies cause benadryl always makes me so tired lol
allergies and being pregnant is not fun but I hope you feel better soon hun  :)

^Robutussin and suddafed are no no's to take during pregnancy (according to my doctor and doula)

claratin is okay... but doctors prefer benadryl.

Okay I took two children's benadryl  so at least I know I'm safe and it seemed to help a little just made me really tired though I have an upper respiratory and sinus infection.. rough week

For allergies the only thing doctors really recommend is benadryl.
