mucus plug

Can parts of your mucus plug be white gooy stuff? I know you can lose parts of it over time. I was just wondering. I never lost mine with my son. Last night I had a some white colored discharge. I'm 36+1 weeks.

Only reason I say that is bc I had a one and had NO symptoms at all... He was just doing a check and told me I had a bad one.. I was so confused. The only symptom I had was milky discharge, but I had that my whole pregnancy so I couldn't ever tell if it was just discharge or something else. My mucus plug was definitely brown/bloody looking though.

I don't think it's a yeast infection. I haven't had any symptoms.

Mine was brown looking, dark red kinda.. I've never heard of it being white.. Could it possibly be a yeast infection? Maybe someone else can give you more info to help!
