Eli Josef came into the world Sunday Nov 18 at 9:30pm weighing 8lbs 2oz and was 21in long. He is so perfect and I love him unconditionally. My contractions woke me up at 7am sunday morning and we headed into the hospital around 9. My labor lasted 14.5 hours and was not bad at all after an hour and 45 minutes of pushing Eli came but was in shock and had the cord around his neck twice. God was with him and saved his life. I'm so happy to be holding him after waiting for so long. Thank you ladies so much for the support and answers. Much love(:

Thank you ladies. It was beyond scary. That was one of my worst fears was that his umbilical cord would choke him. All you want to hear is that big cry and I didn't, but thats ok as I type this I know my little boy is here with me(: thank goodness! Good luck ladies. Motherhood is so much better than anyone could try to make it seem

I love his name by the way. Im having a girl but Eli was one of my considerations for a boys name. :)
