need some job advice!

I lost my job back in October due to an accident and the place being shut down. I took it as a blessing in disguise like god telling me to be a stay at home mom, well unemployment isn't much and bills are tight :/ I was offered a nanny job that I can take my baby too I would be starting 6 weeks after I deliver. Should we stick it out and continue to budget so I can show my baby all the attention he needs or drag him along with me to nanny? I really don't know what to do my mother suggests I stay home while I can but I'm torn :/ advice please!

If it is really OK with the employer to have you bring a newborn to a nanny gig, that is not so bad.  Babies are a lot easier to carry around than toddlers, who will demand your full attention.  How old is the child you would be nannying?  If another baby, again that is not so bad.  If a toddler or an older child, maybe that would be problematic.
