need someone to talk too.

So my mil who i live with said that me and my bf should put our baby up for adoption because I'm not old enough to do certain things like get myself to dhs and all that. she won't even give me a ride there. I'm so hurt right now i just want to cry. i wish there were more housing options in Oregon. :'(

Housing ***** no matter where u are.  I'm in ft n there is no help at all for housing right now basically I work a fulltime job to pay for my rent n that's it. Husband is out of work right now but he's busting his *** to find something it just ***** the economy wise. Obama is more interested in helping the gawd damn illegals than he is on helping ppl who are born n raised here !!!!!! Now its like I wish I never voted for his grimmy *** . Anyways as for ur mil don't let her tell u what u can n can't do with UR CHILD !!!!! She's prouble jealous of u

I live in portland. ive signed up for a lot of helping places here but there always full and have waiting lists. Washington has a lot of resosources there but i think you have to live there to get them. My mil still tells us to move out like every other day and sometimes she'll be nice and its like wtf. maybe its menopause. lol

Oregon can be really tough. I am from Oregon too and the lack of a good bus system in moat town and cities males it very hard to get around because even in the bigger cities everything is so spread out. Hang in there though, tough times are.going to happen no matter what, just keep thinking poasitivly and do what ever.you can to make it work.

My bfs grandma said that to me when I first told her that I was pregnant & then she said" I'm not babysitting nomore damn babies I'm tired".. me and my boyfriend both felt hurt.  Him a little more than me . Now I just see her in a different light , I didn't let it bother me because I felt like it was rude of her to tell me to get an abortion & I didn't ask her *** to babysit anyway . But don't let it bother you . You're baby is a blessing & you'll definitely get through any obstacles that you're being faced with ... Good luck hun !

Yes Medicaid will provide transportation you just have to request it two days before your appointment. If something happens to my car that's what I plan on using. You can do it don't let nobody bring you down like that!

That's awesome that he got a job! Things will definitely get better from there! And if you can havea baby shower, go for it! You'll need all the help you can get - people can be extremely generous where a baby is concerned! :-)

It's your baby, you do what you want. don't let anyone tell you any different, you CAN work your a s s off and do it, I had my first at 17, working as a cashier, no license, so i was being driven to ALL my appts, to work, etc. and my husband had a job as a landscaper making VERY little money. we worked our butts off, used our checks to buy babies necessities, and our necessities, and the rest got saved, and we got by that way, 2 weeks after our son was born we moved into our own house, it is hard, but it is totally doable. Now we are financially stable, I'm 22, my husband 25, I'm a SAHM and he works and we own both of our vehicles, buying a house, have a 4 year old son and just had a beautiful daughter 4 months ago. When things seem SO hopeless, remember that baby growing inside of you that is going to love you more than anything in this world, even if it means a struggle for money for a few years, and remember in the end your hard work and determination will pay off.. you can do it!

I'm sorry she has been so awful to you :-( I'm sure you're exploring all of your options as far as your baby goes, but in the mean time do you have a bus route nearby that you can use to get around? I hope things get better for you!!
