negative hpt & period like bleeding, still pregnant?

Has anyone of you got negative hpt results and period like bleeding but was still pregnant. If yes, then i request you to please share your story. It could be of great help to many.

Period-like-bleeding during pregnancy is not common nor is it a good sign and most often is the result of a miscarriage.  Can it happen?  Yes.  Is it likely that someone that experiences period-like-bleeding and has a negative HPT is actually pregnant?  No.
