newborn help please!

So a few days I had posted that I had a cough and asked if I should go in...my 3 wk old now has a cough! What do I do?!

Baby's get sick a lot they r building up there immune system but always take them in to make sure its not serious.

Take the baby to the Doc office asap

My LO got sick at 3wks with a terrible ccough he got from my 3yr old it was the most frightening thing ever. It was the mucous type n ever time he coughed he would gag so hard n stop breathing since he was so lil his pedi ccouldn't do nothing. We had to just let it run its course. I had baby vicks n vaporizer after a week n half it passed thank god but it was terrifying. Thank god he never got a fever with it n his pedi reassured me it wasn't my fault that it was going around n unavoidable. Just take him to get checked out n if his chest n belly start like see sawing as he breaths then immediately take him in.Good luck i hope Cass gets better soon. Having a winter baby is stressful with all the diff flu's going around

Doesnt matter sweetie you need to take him in because hes only three weeks and hes a premie. Premie babies are at a higher risk of getting RSV as well.

Should I take him to the hospital?  Yes he has been around other ppl but im the only one with the cough

go to the dr anyway and make sure they tedt yoir little one!

That is my worst fear... I got whooping cough when I was a baby n almost didn't make it

Yeah I got it last September I believe its good for 5 yrs
