newborn side sleeping

I have yet another newborn sleeping question.

My baby is 3 weeks old and we are trying desperatly to figure out some sort of sleep solution. Right now we are trying to get her to sleep on her own in our room in a pack n play.  I put her in there on her back, but she rolls onto her side.  Is this okay?  

I have tried putting a bobby around her bottom and sides, or one of those positioners, but frankley I ahve read some things saying they are unsafe and they make me nervous now because she does move around so much, she scoots up and rolls onto her side, so I worry about things getting in her face.  

Is her rolling onto her side at 3 weeks old okay?

The side is fine.  The nurse in the hospital even taught us to do that with our son, placing a rolled blanket behind him to prop him on his side so that he wouldn't choke on his own vomit.

Haha...just read the last post which is basically the same as mine.  So, you should feel pretty good about it now.  :-)

Yes, I have seen a lot of babies roll on their side. My son used to do it and I would put a rolled up thin blanket behind him to help him stay kind of on his side. That also made me feel better in case he would spit up, then I know he wouldn't accidentally choke on it. Your baby will be okay :)
