no more preggy symptoms and slow rising hcg levels

Hi there,

I would like to know if any of you ladies had the same experience like me.
Ok...i am supposed to be 7 weeks pregnant ( according to my last menstual cycly date)
I went at 6 weeks for an ultra sound and they found nothing in my uterus, they found a unclarifying
blood bubble??? I had to go for hcg blood work and those resulst were round about 600. So I had to go
for another ultrasound (transvaginal - not very pleasant :) ) and still  nothing. I had to go more blood work and
my levels of hgc increased form 600 - 2735. To rule out an ectopic pregnancy I had to go for more test 3 days later and my hcg levels didn't increase like we were expecting, the reading was slightly over 3000. Now i have so go for blood tests again on monday, to check what the levels are, but they are preparing me for the operation of tuesday.
I think I will have one last ultra sound hopefully the 4D one, and get a clarity on what is happening.

All my preggy symptoms have disappeared so I am not too optemistic about this coming week.

Who of you ladies have had an ectopic pregnancy and could concieve again and carry full term? I am so worried
that the operation will affect my fertility dramatically.

Hi there, thank you so much for commenting :)

Well they suspect an ectopic and will confirm this on monday, they doctor only mentioned surgery, but I will most certainly ask if there is other means to end the ectopic pregnancy.
I really hope that I wont need an operation, I have been clinging to the hopes that the baby would be visible on the 4D scan and they'd sent me home, but the doctor said not to get my hopes up.

I am so sorry for what you are going through.

I just want to make sure I am understanding your post correctly.  Are the doctors still suspecting an ectopic or is this something that will be determined next Monday?  There have been several ladies conceive in these forums after having surgery for an ectopic pregnancy.  Did the doctor discuss the possibility of non-surgical options for aborting an ectopic pregnancy (if that is what you have)?
