^^^ exactly how i do it but i put
2 whole tomatoes
piece of garlic
big piece of onion
chicken boillion
water then blend it together n put it on the browned rice n folllow the rest of her steps lol
Ok this is what you do. Get a big pot, put enough oil in the pot to cover the bottom.
You put 2 cups of short cut rice into the pot once the oil is heat up.
You fry the rice till its slightly browned.
Then you add 4 cups of water, 1 small can tomato sauce (thats what gives Mexican rice its color), and spices: chicken boillon, cumin, garlic salt, onion powder.
Taste the mixture and add spices till its how you like.
You then cover it with a lid and let it cook on low heat for 20 minutes. Any longer its burned, Any shorter it will be hard.
YOU CAN NOT OPEN THE LID TILL ITS DONE COOKING, DO NOT STIR WHILE ITS COOKING.
if you open it or stir it, it will end up ruiened!!
