not feeling movement

I am 21 weeks pregnant with my third child and it doesn't seem right. I havent felt any movement and haven't gained any weight. I actually lost about 5 pounds and now have zeroed out back to my original weight. Could something really be wrong? I havent felt very connected to this pregnancy no mattrr how hard i try and part of me is starting to think maybe i was trying to protect myself from something going wrong with it. Any advice would be great.

I felt the exact same way, I'm starting to believe it more and more because I have a doppler and can hear the H/B from home. I've only gained 2lbs, I'm 17+3, no symptoms, just starting to feel movements once in a while. I just tried to pretend I wasn't pregnant, or it wasn't viable so if something did happen, I wouldn't feel as bad, and still haven't connected much, my gender U/S is friday so I'm hoping that will help, do you have an U/S scheduled at all? Doctors appt's hearing the H/B? I'm sure everything is just fine!

If it makes u feel any better, this is my second pregnancy, I'm 23 weeks and I didn't start feeling movement with this pregnancy until the middle of last week. I'm sure everything is OK, just dont stress urself out. :-)

I thought as my third I would notice movement early, but I was at least at your stage before I felt anything, I had him 4wks ago and he's fine. Once you start noticing movement, your feelings will kick in, honest. I was the same as you as he wasnt especially planned, and I had lots of early bleeding, but I love the wee man to bits and I think it was when he started kicking that I was finally able to connect with him better.
