I had nsts done twice a week and sometimes got "nonreactive" results. My baby slept alot during the day but she wasnt in distress. If they show the baby is in distress they will take the baby out or induce you, esp if you have hypertension your prob more likely to have the baby ewrly

They strap 2 bands around your tummy 1 for contractions 2 for baby movements. And you can be there 30 min till you leave w/ baby depending on results

I've been going since I was 34 w because I have gd and pregnancy induced hypertension as well and I haven't had a bad result. Only thing is sometimes my baby boy is sleep in and doesn't wanna move lol so they have this Lil vibrator thing and buzz your tummy with it to wake him up.

If the results are bad though they usually induce you cuz the baby is in distress.

They just want to make sure baby is not in any stress. If baby is then it may you may get induced. I had nst to make sure baby had enough fluids and heart was going great.
