my doc told me about toms n drinking more milk because of calcium
Stretch and eat bananas. The potassium in the bananas helps to prevent muscle cramps/charley horses. Like the previous poster said, magnesium also helps, but you should check with your dr before starting any additional supplements.
I do calf stretches and my doc put me on 250 mg of Magnesium. It had helped a ton. .
Ill get them in the morning when I stretch in bed and I read to point your feet up when u get them that has helped me a lot.

Try to stretch a lot, exercise helps the cramps a lot, try to drink a lot of water too. Massage also helps.
