I'm starting to realize how extremely difficult it is to plan a shower when most of my friends are guys and do not want to be involved in "girlish activities". :( And it seems like I already have at least 60 people on my list to invite, but they all have their own separate lives since high school so I'm afraid they won't show! :(

And @k_bmomma my guy friends informed me that they would not be attending my shower, except for the gay ones so I guess I don't have to worry about that anymore. But I'm still wanting the shower to be a drop-in one so it's less formal.

My hubby's friends and coworkers were the first ones to throw me a shower! And they all brought their TV's and PS3 and were all playing BlackOps2. You arrived, brought a gift, have a beer, eat and play with your friends... it was awsome!! Cool BabyShower!

Your having a baby boy right? It doesn't have to be girly!! And if your having a second one.. then one could be more guyish and then the other can be your girly one! There are a ton of games that can be more guy type games! Plus guys are competitive so it would be more fun in my oppion. I didn't have a baby shower though ): but of I did I'd rather not have a girly one..

yeah! I know that inviting friends from high school is a mistake lol I graduated over 2 years ago, lord knows they don't want to come to a stupid shower.

I don't even have 15 people to show up for mine :-( it makes me not even want to have a shower but I know ill need to gifts because I have yet to go shopping and for the next month and a half, I can't buy anything because all our money is going to moving into a 2 br apartment.

I have 2 friends, but I'm not friends with one because ever since I got pregnant, she's been the worst best friend. The other won't be invited because no one wants her in their home... she's kind of a bad person, super judgemental and steals lol. So that's it for friends haha.. I have old friends from high school but I really have no interest in talking to them, and inviting them to my baby shower seems pointless. In so stressed that there will only be 5 people there :-\  but my moms throwing it for me and my bfs fam is supposeily throwing me one... but like I said... can't see many people coming... I don't know any of his family lol. So I see where you're coming from! Stupid shower.

Eh, my allergies are super horrible starting in march, so outdoors is out lol I think I'll just have a drop in shower and hopefully no more than 15 people will be in here at a time

haha mine either.... were around that many invites already as well nd plus my moms still ganna give her bar friends invites nd work friends haha... we had a new years party here wen we first moved to this house there was mby like 20-25 of us here nd it was pretty packed ahah idk how the more than 60s ganna work inside so i really hope its not raining haha....

The one that my grandma is throwing for my family in North Carolina will be at her house, but I really don't want to have the ones for my friends at my house. I'm just a clean freak and I know I would probably be scrubbing everything for days after everyone left and plus, my mom is sending out 65 invitations for the shower here, so I really don't think 65 people will be able to fit in my living room lol

at my house... my aunt was sayin at her house cuz thats where everyone usually gets together, its bigger, nicer nd better play area fur kids but that will be too much... we would have to take like 3 cars wit all the people thats here at my house nd all the food takin it there nd bringin watevers not finished back here nd all the presents nd cleaning up there its juss too much... so well do it here... im hoping it doesnt rain cuz we invited alot of people nd if it rains then everyone will be piled nd squished inside haha but well see....

my moms inviting friends from the bowlin alley nd lass monday one guys girlfriend was like ohh yeaa the baby shower all excited wen we gave her the invitation nd her Jim (her bf) got a look on his face like he didnt wanna go nd my moms like its fur guys nd girls nd theres ganna be food... nd he was like is there ganna be alcohol? nd my moms like of course! nd he got all happy nd was like okayy.. haha so mby fur the guys yu could play a game like get lil baby bottles nd fill them with like beer nd which ever guy drinks it the fastest wins... they might like that... we played that one at my cusins baby shower

Don't sweat it,people who truly wish you well an ARE friends will set aside time an come to share this special time with you.as far as the dudes,maybe have some silly messy games they'll have fun doing
