ovulation??? Please answer

I'm confused... I'm 26 and normally have a 31 day cycle (30 days if you don't count first day of AF). I normally can tell that i am close to O b/c of CM- I always get the EWCM for a few days in a row. Well this time its different. I had my last AF on Jan 17th (stared spotting a few days b4 that, which is also odd but it was very little amt.) So I'm due for AF on Feb 16th. Here's where I'm confused...I should have ovulated around jan 31st to Feb 2nd BUT on Jan 28th i had the EWCM and it was only a little bit and not again until Feb 1st, again only once in AM and once in PM an then not again until today 2/4/08 and only in the AM so far but it was a LOT more than the other times (more like it usually is.) So I'm confused. Normally everythings the same, why would it be different this time? I know cycles can be disrupted for stress and stuff, but I just need some women to tell me their stories (helps me feel better )

What I meant was I had mild cramping and CM later in the month than I usually do.  So I assumed I ovulated later in that cycle. I have a pretty regular 26 day cycle. Which I guess I could have ovulated later but my period came exactly when I thought it would---day 26. SO I just figured that I may have ovulated at the same time I normally do but I could have had those symptoms after I had already ovulated. I hope this makes sense. I have read that sometimes women actually have signs of ovulating after they have indeed already ovulated.

thank you for replying!!! What do you mean symptoms of late ovulation? I understand that ovulation can come late but i havent' heard of symptoms occuring w/late ovulation. Can you explain this to me?

mine has been very similar. But actually due to the time my AF arrived - I knew that I must have ovulated the same time I always do. I just had symptoms of late ovulation.

ANYONE???? I posted this a week ago and no one has answered. I'm fairly certain i"m not pregant (still have 6 days till arrival of AF) but am still confused about Ovulation. By now I think I ovulated b/w the 3rd and 4th (of Feb) and on Feb 6th I started having really tender breasts...probably pms. I just need to know if anyone else has experienced "off" cycles of O. I think I usually O 15 days after AF (31 day cycle).
