pain meds after birth?

Do they give u pain meds after birth assuming its vaginal or do they just say take some tylenol.. im nervous for my vag.

I didn't even need to use mine very often, but I went back to work after nine days so I still wasnt healed and pushing it is what made it painful. if you can rest, you should be able to get by with just ibuprofen

I just took extra strength Tylenol because I was breastfeeding and didnt want to risk it. They did prescribe me something else alot stronger but I never used it

They gave me tylenol 3 motruim & benedrill

They should ask if your breastfeeding or not and depending in your pain can give you something stronger. My first I took the pain pills and this time am fine with ibuprofen.

After I had my first they tried to prescribe me percocet but I turned it down and just took ibuprofen

I got Percocet, prescription strength ibuprofen, and Loritab

I had horrrrible cramps afterwards and they gave me percocets. They hurt more than giving birth did!
