ur talking about a colposcopy for abnormal papsmear where they spray ur cells w vinegar and look to see if the cells change if so they then do a biopsy which they will schedule for whn u deliver...ive had one it does nt hurt just a lil crampy they say u might spot but i didnt some people do some dont,,i was terrified whn i had to get one but after wards i was like omg y was i so scared,,it is quick it last about 10mins they spray u w vinegar then they look at all ur cells in a clockwise direction to check if they change then if they do they just set u up the appt for biopsy whr they cut a piece of the abnormal cell for testing.. good luck dnt worry its not as bad as u think..o i was 33weeks whn i had mine

Ohh is a colon something to do with your butt? I think we must be talking about different things, it would be a huge help if I knew how to spell it lol sorry.. Its definately a vaginal examination, a 'vinegar dye' is put in to check something something?? Lol its all good, thankyou anyway.. I have my glucose test monday so il ask them then lol

I would call and ask. If its a colonoscopy they have to sedate you plus the laxatives used the night b4 will likely send you into labor. Neither the laxative or sedation are good for pregnancy.

I have nooo idea! Over the phone it sounded like she said coloscopy but you could be right. She didnt even explain what it was, all I know is my first pap smear in April of this year came back with abnormal cells, but they said it will be followed up in 12months.. Does that make any sense? Lol

Do you mean a colonoscopy? Where they use a camera to look at your colon?   If so, I can't imagine why they would do it while you are pregnant. Papsmears are normal to have during pregnancy. They do them just like when you aren't pregnant.
