Hi sorry about your loss, but I can't help but ask are you on metformin? It helps prevent miscarriage if taken until the end of the first trimester also some women with PCOS need extra progesterone to help sustain pregnancy, I was on both until 13 weeks. I hope that helps and hopefully you will get your baby soon. Again I'm sorry you went through that I can't imagine how bad that feels. good luck hun.
I have PCOS as well. I found that I have PCOS about a year ago after I stop taking birth control and didn’t have an AF for three months. I see my OB to assist me with ovulating I take Clomid 50mg on cycle days 3-7. I also check my ovulation with OPK strips, BBT, and I have my progesterone levels checked on 21cd. I had one BFP but ended in a mc after 7w5d. Many women get pregnant and go through full term. The only thing I can suggest is 1. Be calm and patient, 2. See your OB or RE for assistance, 3. Have fun ttc. Just remember there are many many PCOSers out there and we are all here to help one another.
Hi I have PCOS also, we tried for 3.5 years before we were able to conceive but I went undiagnosed for 2 years. First you need to see a reproductive endocrinologist this doctor is the best trained to treat you, don't let your OBGYN try to manage your fertility (you have an endocrine disorder and should be seen by a specialist). Most likely you will be started on metformin to regulate your hormone levels which for most women helps a period return and eventually ovulation. If metformin is not enough to start your period you will most likely be given progesterone to help bring on AF but just because you have a period does not mean you ovulate and vice versa. You should start tracking to see if you ovulating (you don't need a period to ovulate). I recommend the digital OPK's from clear blue, test strip OPK's can give a false positive if you have naturally high LH like some PCOSers. It's cheaper to do OPK's after your period starts that way your not testing everyday. You can do temping also but I was never good at that because i rarely get up at the same time. You will get pregnant you just need to start with a good doctor :). good luck hun you can message me anytime if you have questions.
My sister has pcos as well. Because of it, she doesn't ovulate, hence the absence of a cycle. She was told that once she is ready, she will just need to take progesterone and she will ovulate. I know that's an emotional and troublesome diagnosis, but it's very treatable-go see your doctor! :) Good luck!
