pegesterone cream

i've been ttc since last july. i found out i have low pegesterone levels. I started pegesterone cream 2 days ago and am scheduled have  a visit from aunt flo next weekend. So, it's most likely too late to get pregnant this cycle, and i'm not counting on it. My hope is in next month. Has anyone had luck getting pregnant the first full cycle after being on the pegesterone cream?

Oh good I hope that everything works out for you. I have low progesterone also but mine didn't become a problem until about my 4-5 th week and then got put on the suppositories (200mg 3xs a day) and I get to go off of them at the end of this week (I'll be 10 weeks in about 3 days I hate the things but they have done their job :) I hope that they work for you and you get your bfp!

my doctor is the one who put me on the cream and is closely monitering it. she knows we have been ttc since july and that we had a miscarriage last year. i have a friend who went to the same doctor, found out she has low progesterone levels, and was put on the cream as well. a month after that she became pregnant and now she has a happy, healthy toddler. she was put back on the cream a few months ago and is pregnant again. so, i have high hopes for this. like her's, my cycles are already irregular, the doc said this should help regulate them.

Progesterone cream is good,it dont always mess with your cycle providing you use it correctly, generally they say stop using it at 12-13dpo after a negaitive test.
I would agree to try get the suppositries as the cram isnt as effective as the suppositries.i used them through this pregnancy bit messy but they do work, some doc are funny about perscribing them, but i agree with nickie talk to your doctor.

Progesterone cream is going to make your period a little screwy or can even make it late. I was on follie shots along with hcg trigger shots along with progesterone suppositories... I had to have my blood checked on the 14th or 15th day and my period never started until a few days after I stopped the suppositories. If you are pregnant than it is a great idea to start the progesterone cream or suppositories but I am not sure about before you find out that you are pregnant. I would definitely suggest talking to your doctor about the side effects and the usages before starting anything that could effect your period. Best of luck to you!
