You can always hurt yourself doing lifting while pregnant. You need to be careful. How much the child weighs makes a difference to. My two year old knows how to walk so I tell him no you have to walk. If he wants to cuddle we cuddle while laying down. Not only can you hurt yourself it's better to prepare them before hand for not being carried all the time cause you won't be able to when baby comes.

A lot of pregnant women develop conditions where they can't lift anything heavier than 10 pounds - it depends on your pregnancy.  In general,  lifting toddlers is fine for most women.

I don't think so.  I pick my 3 year old up and my baby is fine. U might just have them jump when u lift so that way it's easier on u.

Not really. I am 31st and have a 3.5yr old son and I carry him almost everyday. I just don't carry him for too long. But I think it depends on how many weeks you are. If you are under 12wks,  then I wouldn't advice it. Don't worry about it. Your body will let you know if you are doing something wrong. God bless!
