pinching pain around cervix 14 weeks pregnant

So im 2 days away from being 14 weeks pregnant and ive been noticing this brief on and off pinching pain which i think is around the left side of my cervix. Does anyone know what may be causing this. I had an ultrasound 4 days ago baby is healthy moving around and my cervix is closed? on that day i did have some light pink discharge which has gone now.

thanks for the reply..yes the discharge was only there for one day and its been a week now and gone, it freaked me out. the pinching pain isnt sore and its really faint, it actually comes and goes every now and then im just wondering what the heck it is haha!

It's really hard to say what it is. I remember having something like that or more of a throbbing sensation and I know there's a lot more bloodflow down in that whole area and that's what I was told it probably was. If it's really bad then I'd say talk to your doctor about it, or mention it anyway at your next appt.
Light pink discharge is nothing to worry about, it's normal in early pregnancy.
