So I just went out and bought a whole lot of pineapple and date fruit and hopefully it works to bring on labour. Has anyone tried this and has it worked?

sex seemed to kick it into full gear for me. well not
sex so much as the orgasim. every orgasim i had
caused the contractions to get stronger.

My midwife told me to walk, do squats, and drink raspberry leaf tea and if I really wanted to, drink castor oil... I didn't do the castor oil though. I also tried pineapple, eggplant, and spicy foods. Nothing is working and now I'm 41 weeks :(

The only old wives tale I've tried is eating pineapple. I'm 38+6 and have dilated to 4cm and 70% on my own and I have been having contractions since thursday

My sister tried papya and it didn't help. I from others have not heard of pineapple helping so whatever. What could help is walking and found squats. I know that this late in your pregnancy it can be a little hard to squat but it helps the baby lower into the right position and everything to help speed up the process. If you call an ob clinic and ask they can give you some at home remedies to also help with this process.
