placenta previa at 11 weeks

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted.  I'm now 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant!  I am excited because earlier on in my pregnancy I was worried about miscarrying again.  I've made it this far!  My excitement today turned to worry though when I went in for my second ultrasound.  The technician told me that I had placenta previa.  I am so scared that this will cause a miscarriage.  I researched online, and found out that sometimes the placenta moves out of the way as the uterus grows.  I was told before that I had a tilted uterus, and in researching placenta previa I found that one of the causes is oddly shaped uteruses.  I'm wondering if any of you out there has had this kind of experience with your pregnancies?  What have you been told by your doctors?  I don't have a doctor's appointment until the 10th so I'm feeling a bit anxious right now.

Thanks

im 11 weeks pregnant today, this is my first pregnancy and i had my first ultrasound on tuesday and they said i have placenta previa. i know exactly how you feel, i dont know what i should do to avoid any problems though. arent you suppose to not have intercourse? i know that like 90 percent of them correct themselves but it just doesnt even seem possible because the baby is completely blocking my cervix and im so afraid of what could happen..

Many women here have had full or partial placenta previa. Someone I know IRL had partial placenta previa and it moved so she was able to give birth vaginally.
