placenta

Hi everyone. Now I'm 14+4 but when I was 12+5 I had sex with my husband. I woke up about an hour or so later and felt wet but ignored it. I woke up later at 5 and found ny underwear, leggings, pajama bottoms, bedsheet and even the matrews soaked in blood. I panicked and got upset and thought I miscarried. In the afternoon my husband took my to the gynecologist. A scan showed the baby was well but advised me to get admitted to the hospital. In the hospital I got further scans and it was revealed I have a tear in my placenta. I also was told I have anemia. I spent a week in hospital in bed attached to an iv drip. I finally got discharged, but was told it is very important I remain in bed rest until at least the 6th month of pregnancy. I could end up losing the baby and loose too much blood. This is my first pregnancy and I'm 21. I keep thinking it isn't fair for me, and I don't want to be pregnant again and go through all this pain again, even though I do want kids. I really want me to make it in this pregnancy, and hope that once this child makes it in my arms alive and healthy the pain will be forgotten and totally worth it.

It will all be worth it! Follow the Drs orders to a tee and just try not to stress to much. I had a similar situation a few Weeks ago and had chunks of blood, it was very scary so I can only imagine waking up to that! Keep us updated and enjoy your Hubby waiting on you ;)
