OK, finally found you a specific,
Normal Results Normal FSH levels will differ depending on a person's age and gender.

Male:
Before puberty: 0 -5.0 mIU/ml*
During puberty: 0.3 -10.0 mIU/ml
Adult: 1.5 -12.4 mIU/ml
Female:
Before puberty: 0 -4.0 mIU/ml
During puberty: 0.3 -10.0 mIU/ml
Women who are menstruating: 4.7 -21.5 mIU/ml Postmenopausal: 25.8 -134.8 mIU/ml

The examples above are common measurements for results of these tests. Normal value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories. Some labs use different measurements or test different samples. Talk to your doctor about the meaning of your specific test results. * mIU/ml = milli international units per milliliter

If you are menstruating, and I assume you must be if on a pregnancy forum, than a fsh score of 5.4 f alls within the normal range

If the ovary has many eggs, the FSH in a woman’s blood is low because the body doesn’t need to work hard to get a normal ovulation. If the egg number is low, the body needs to work harder to get ovulation, so it increases the amount of FSH in an effort to push the ovaries. A high FSH means the egg number is reduced, sometimes to levels so low that pregnancy is not possible. What is a good level? Well that depends on each individual lab and IVF program. For most centers, anything over 12 is considered not so good.

FSH - Follicle-Stimulating Hormone

A follicle-stimulating hormone test measures the amount of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in a blood sample. FSH is produced by the pituitary gland.

In women, FSH helps control the menstrual cycle and the production of eggs by the ovaries. The amount of FSH varies throughout a woman's menstrual cycle and is highest just before she releases an egg (ovulates).
In men, FSH helps control the production of sperm. The amount of FSH in men normally remains constant.

The amounts of FSH and other hormones (luteinizing hormone, estrogen, and progesterone) are measured in both a man and a woman to determine why the couple can't become pregnant (infertility). The FSH level can help determine whether male or female sex organs (testicles or ovaries) are functioning properly.
Why It Is Done

A follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) test may be done to:

Help find the cause of infertility. FSH testing is commonly used to help evaluate a:
        Woman's egg supply (ovarian reserve).
        Man's low sperm count.
Help evaluate menstrual problems, such as irregular or absent menstrual periods (amenorrhea). This can help determine whether the woman has gone through menopause.
Determine if a child is going through early puberty (also called precocious puberty). Puberty is early when it starts in girls younger than age 9 and in boys younger than age 10.
Determine why sexual features or organs are not developing when they should (delayed puberty).
Help diagnose certain pituitary gland disorders, such as a tumor.
