*ice pack ON your stomach. Not sure how you would get it in there. ;)
With my first pregnancy I got this horrible itch and rash that lasted for almost the whole third trimester. It was called PUPPP and is the most annoying, frustrating thing ever! Ugh. Nothing works to make it go away and it is a continuous itch that would have me crying from exhaustion at 3 am. My doctor even tried to prescribe me steroids to help with the itch. Nothing worked except giving birth to my daughter. Within a couple days it was completely gone. During labor it didn't bug me because I was in so much pain and had my trusty epidural and then after it just lessened and lessened and lessened. Something that can kinda help is putting and ice pack in your stomach. Heat will irritate it and cold will sooth. Also do not use any soaps that are scented. The most gentle soap is dove so invested in some dove non-scented.
hi,
i had really bad itching on my tummy also when i was having my 3rd baby, the midwife at the hospital when i went in to be induced saw my stomach and said that looks like cellulitis.
i don't think it was, but when my son was born 2 days later the itching stopped within a couple of days, i think mine was caused by my cotton underwear which was too tight sitting directly just under my bump.
i know how annoying it was for me and empathize with you totally. the end is in sight for you very soon now, all i can offer is that it stops like mine did once the baby is born.
best wishes
