Here is an earlier post that seems relevant:

Has anyone heard of this??---
I was on my 15th week of pregnancy when I went to see my doctor to listen for the heartbeat and she couldn't find the it.  She sent me to ultrasound and it confurmed that I don't have baby forming inside.  Uterus is growing by itself, but there is no baby inside.  I was scheduled for next day D&E surgery.
I didn't have bleeding, cramping, vomiting, anything like that during my 15 weeks.
I just never heard of this case before  --- has anyone ??

Sometimes the baby starts growing and is re-absorbed. Sometimes the sac grows empty. Sometimes it is too early to see anything, and your dates are wrong. Sometimes the dates are fine, and you just ovulated later than normal.
Fingers crossed honey, and keep us updated!
Have you had any spotting?
