yea im about a week away from my period, and it is usually like clock work. So this is why I am so confused. I had this spotting on sunday and monday, for about 2 hours or so, and it isnt a constant flow at all.

Depending on what site or research you are reading implantation occurs 5-12 days after ovulation in only about 25% of women. Depending on your cycle length in could be close to the time of expected period.....but does not normally occur at the time you expect your period but a few days to a week before you expect your period to start. It is also much lighter than a period and only lasts from a few hours to a couple of days. It may also have been ovulation spotting. Let us know when you find out.

Hi, so here is my story:

My period is due next tuesday wednesday. My husband and I have had sex a few times within the past week. I am still on birthcontrol but I am horrible at remembering to take it. Anyways just yesterday I have  brownish spotting. My breast are a tad tender, and I am tired and cranky...lol could this be implantation bleeding am I pregnant?

Actually its 6-12 days.most women mistake implantation bleeding for normal period.
which is why they then wonder, why the period was different to the norm.6dpo isnt the norm, more like when your due your period.

I get this every month without fail before AF arrives and i've been ttc for teh past 33 months with no joy.  i have heard some women state they have it just after ovulation but not many have it and find out they are pregnant.  I would hold out until you miss AF and then test.  Best of luck!!

There has been alot of research done on implantation bleeding and most OB's will tell you implantation bleeding normally occurs 5-10days after ovulation, not around the time of your period. I had implantation bleeding with 2 of my pregnancies and it was about 6-7 days after ovulation. So it could very well be implantation bleeding and cramping. Good luck!!

Implanation, isnt somthing all women get.ive been pregnant lots of times, and never experienced it.it normally happens when your period is due.it seems bit early if it was that, but you will have to wait to see if your period comes or not.good luck..
