So ladies, what is your post partum goal weight? How much have you gained? Are you worried? How many of you plan to breastfeed? I'm 9 weeks postpartum and have been breastfeeding since my son was 2 days old. I've lost 45 lbs out of the 63 i gained. My goal weight is 125-130 then i will adjust then.
Oh yes! I have gained about 46 lbs and I am 38+4 right now. I plan on strictly breastfeeding for the first year.. by then I hope to have lost at least 50 lbs if not more. Then I plan on eating healthier and working out with my husband. In the end I want to be down to at least 150 lbs if possible then 130 lbs.
I am hoping to get back to where i was.. i am 5'3 & weighed 125-ish prepregnancy & now i am in the low 160's.. my goal was to only put on 25 pounds and honestly i am embarrased i have gained that much already (28+4 weeks).. but i definately plan on breastfeeding and getting back into my walking routine. Thank God i am having a spring baby & will be able to get outside more often..
Oh jeez. I feel like a cow. :( I was 311 pre pregnancy, now I'm 322 at 19+1, post partum I would love to be down to about 230 eventually.. I'm 5'9", busty and big boned so I'm hoping to lose most the fat but still be healthy looking for my body type.
I was 130 the first time I got pregnant...the second time I got pregnant 188...this time 198 :( but since getting pregnant Im down to 175lbs so I've lost quite a bit but I'm only 14-17wks idk I would love to be 155lbs after this baby....my dream (more like fantasy) weight is 140 lol
I am 21 weeks today. I was 115 pre pregnancy nd now I'm 130. My Dr said I need to gain 35-40 lbs total but I am going to breast feed nd work out to get bak o115. Its my first baby.nd I've always Ben skinny I'm scared I'm gonna gain too much nd not lose enough:( but I have summer BA o hope it goes fast!!
Im 33w an have gained 33pounds,i plan on breastfeeding.totally worried i wont lose the weight an im gonna be a bridesmaid in my sisters wedding like two months after i have him so i really gotta get it together lol i wanna be 130-140 give or take.@mommyofhayden are you eating healthy in addition to breastfeeding? Good job on losing 45# girl! I need tips! Lol
I am currently 36 weeks, i started off at 154 and am now at 195, i was hoping to only gain 30lbs but i have high hopes. With my first some i was 133 pre pregnancy and at delivery weighed 197 and with in 6 weeks was down to 140. I was only able to breast fees the first 8 weeks however the baby weight came off quicker than it went on. My goal is to weigh 145 by easter whuchbis 10lbs lighter than pre pregnancy for the baby:)
I've only gained 11 lbs at 38 weeks. And as far as what I want to weigh... I really dont know, I do know I want my body mass index to be around 30% or less if possible. But I want to gain more weight actually cuz I am gonna start working out my legs, stomach, and arms again.
It doesn't matter your weight, what matters is your health. :) either way, I hope all you ladies get what you want. But make sure youre doing it in a healthy manner.
I gained 30lbs my entire pregnancy, and have lost 21 of that (as of my last appt.) can't wait to go back, breast feeding helps me lose the weight steadily, planning on losing the last 9lbs plus about another 10 I had left over from my son, and I'll be happy!
I'm 4 weeks postpartum. I gained 20 pounds my pregnancy and I've lost 16 of them. I was 135 when I first got pregnant and was trying to get down to 125. Right now I'm just trying to get down to my pre pregnancy weight but once I get there I'd still like to reach my original weight loss goal.
I'm 17 days pp and have no clue what I weigh! I've been breastfeeding and only gained 20 pounds. I want to get back to 118 +/- 1-2 pounds which is where I started. I had worked my butt off right before I got pregnant for my wedding!
Are you doing any exercise as well mommyofhayden? And don't you find breastfeeding makes you just as hungry as when you were pregnant? You're only young too, so you're bound to get your body back! Keep up the good work.
I was 125 prepregnancy. Im five weeks pp and am at my starting weight. I do want to lose another 10-15 pounds though. I just need to get the feeling back in my feet so I can work out. I'm also exclusively bfing.
