postpartum bleeding

I am 10 days post partum and am still having bright red bleeding and clotting, should i be concerned? my postpartum checkup is not for another month but i am taking the baby for a checkup monday and wonder if i should mention it?

Its normal - how big are the clots though?  If they are reasonably big (quarter size or larger) then you should give your doctor a call.  Also, how many pads are you filling up a day?  Based on your birth experience, you need to watch things carefully as you may be more susceptible to anemia.

mine was bright red and clotting for 3 weeks after and i didnt stop bleeding until 6 weeks after..

You can bleed up to 6 weeks post partum. My bleeding stopped within 2 weeks so hopefully yours will too! But it is definitely normal. Just annoying!
