pre eclampsia

I have a test next week to see if I have it, my blood pressure is normal, and I think my protieb level was down. I don't really have swelling in my face or hands, but I do get it in my feet at times. I'm 24 weeks. And I gained 11 pounds in 4 weeks. What exactly is pre eclampsia, and has anyone who has had it, had a healthy baby.? I'm terrified.

My sister had this and she had to have preterm labor at 6-7 months pregnant. she was pregnant with twin and only one survived. he had to stay in hospital for 3months . :( so if you do have it than you will have to have the baby early. I'm in a high risk pregnancy and im 27weeks+2 . Im also at risk to have pre eclampsia, i try to stay away from salty foods and sodas  and being at a good diet, try water getorade , and yea you can have fast food like 1-2 times a week but just be very carefull and take care of your self. wish you and your baby the best of luck and god bless you both.
