Bright red blood is not normal in pregnancy and it can go 50-50 either way. At this early stage they wont be able to stop it if it is a miscarriage but they will be able to determine if you have a subchorionic hematoma (cut inside the uterine lining) and if that is what is causing the bleeding. I had one with my first that made me bleed worse than a period for 5 weeks and now my daughter is 3 1/2.
Early bleeding is common due to body change up and sometimes draining. I must say please watch it because I continued to spot from 6 weeks until seven weeks and just had a miscarriage this Saturday at eight weeks. Just please take it easy and ask your doc if you can get another vaginal ultrasound.
Bleeding and spotting can be totally normal in pregnancy. But if it's heavy and you experience severe pain that can mean miscarriage. To be on the safe side, call your doctor and see what they say.
go to the doctor NOW!!! that does not sound good at all
