Hi,

Is it safe having sex when pregnant. I am going on 6 weeks pregnant, but have found on-line that having sex can be dangerous to the baby....? Is this true or can it be dangerous???

Im 36 weeks and still having sex multiple times a day and have since I was 3 weeks pregnant.

No true x im 7 + 4 days and only reason i cant have sex is because my doctor has told me not to due to spotting a week back :)

One of my pregnancy symptoms is sex. Then when it comes time I'm exhausted. Keep a regular sex life because after you deliver it may be hard for your partner to see you as a sex symbol, all the books will tell you to keep a healthy sex life and to not forget about your partner when your baby comes.

I do have regular thrush I have had for about 10 years (doc's wont treat it) we had sex and brown discharge came out, but have been told it was not miscarriage. xx

I do.. everyday, sometimes 2x a day.. I literally crave it.  I am 30 weeks and baby girl is perfectly fine.  If it causes any pain or discomfort, I wouldn't.  But I have had no trouble at all.  My doctor said as long as I am not in pain or bleeding, and no rough sex, it was fine!

Sex during yur first trimester can b harmful but it depends on yu pregnancy yu can always talk to yu ob see what they say. I didnt until i was n my 2nd trimester jus bcuz i would start to bleed when we would have sex when i was around 7wks

That is false. Sex actually helps with stimulating labor. My doctor recommended it. If bleeding or pain occurs thats when it becomes a problem. However, you are not far along at all and should not be experiencing anything.

Sex is totally safe while pregnant you may even crave it LOL if ur sure of ur partner is "clean" yes u can get and infection if u dont keep urself clean at all time your baby is very well protected

In no way is it dangerous. The only time you shouldn't have sex is when your doctor says to not to
