They are both right. Especially if you really did concieve around the 22 of May. That has you as really into your pregnancy and at this point your HCG levels are going to be the best indicator. There are some women who don't see a heart beat until 8-9 and some who see if at 6 weeks, so it can really vary when you are in early pregnancy. That is why a lot of Dr. wont do ultrasounds that early because women will stress themselves out worry that they didn't see something which is still too early to see. So don't worry, avoid stress and just take care of yourself. Only time will tell so relax and wait it out :)
As texasangel said, your levels are good for where you are and definitely won't see anything yet. At 4 wks my blood was 98 and we saw the sac at 5 1/2 wks when levels were well over 2000. Try to relax :)
Thank you so much, that helped put my mind at ease
It's definitely too early to see anything. Your levels need to be over 1000 to see a sac - typically 6 - 7 weeks. Sometimes you can see the sac in the middle of 5 weeks, depending on when it implants.
Your spotting is probably still from implantation. I cramped pretty bad (menstral) until I was about 9 weeks and still have cramping every now and then at 15 weeks.
Your best bet is to get your hcg tested again in a few days and make sure they are doubling every 48 hours. 100's is where you want to be at only 4 weeks pregnant. I think you're just fine!
