pregnant and addicted to hydrocodone

Im 5 months prego and addicted to hydrocodone, because of a past foot surgery. i feel horrible that i cant stop, but i have slowed down of the amount of pills that i take i dont take anymore that 10 mg a day and not every single day but alteast 3-4 times a week, sometimes more if im having a bad day. so i be worried? what should i do?

I would suggest talking to your ob about this. There may be a safe way to wean you off this medicine, in most cases it is not ok to just stop taking the medicine. I have read that doctors have been known to prescribe this medication during pregnancy, so your ob would deffinatly be the one to talk to. I wish you the best of luck
