Do NOT do P90X while pregnant not even the yoga bc most of the poses they have you do you should NOT do while pregnant. I was watching my husband do it two days ago so it's fresh in my mind. You can get prenatal yoga and pilates.

I drink lots of water, and eat fresh fruits and veggies and walk often. So many people say eat for two and they crave something and eat it. I never ate cookies prior to pregnancy or cake or ice cream so I will not allow myself to have that while pregnant. I am 27 weeks and have gained 14 pounds so I am right on track to gain 25 total. My cousin on the other hand had gained 25 pounds by 20 weeks bc she ate anything she wanted. She said I'm pregnant so if i want it I'll have it. That included a dozen cookies, ice cream every day, butter burgers four times a week. She was as big as a house. She keeps telling me how small I am for 27 weeks and how I'm going to get SO big. Yes I'll get bigger but not like her bc I watch what I eat. Fruits and veggies are your friend!

Yeah, I was doing both of those (not p90x, but crunch series, Ellen Barret, etc), in addition to cardio. As your belly grows you may not be able to do all the exercises but you can always switch over to prenatal workout dvds.  (I know some of my dvds had a lot of exercises where I was supposed to be laying on my stomach, so I had to cut those out).  :o)

I searched online for a calculator that told me my caloric needs for each trimester.  Prior to becoming pregnant I had just started losing weight through reduced calories and frequent exercising.  You shouldn't diet during pregnancy, but I knew that if I just went back to eating whatever again I would gain so much (that's what I did in my last 2 pregnancies and I am happy to say that I am 20 lbs lighter at this stage than I was during those two, and I still weigh a little less at 35 wks pg than before I started losing).  I stopped exercising at around 17 weeks due to my kidney complications, but if you are active you can continue that throughout pregnancy.  The site I used to calculate my caloric needs was called freedieting.  Hope that helps!
