prenatal vitamins ewwww gross

well my doctor gave me these vitamins they are the size of horse pills and i cant swallow them never been able to take pills specially not while im sick and fighting to keep food down. i have 3 kids already and i didnt take the vitamins with any of them i tried with my first but they always came back up. i eat healthy and all my kids are healthy. but my fiance pushs me to take the pills but i cant i think eating the right foods and eating healthy y should i worry. should i worry?

Hi, I am the same as you i never took any vitamins at all with my daughters and now with this bub num 5 i am taking them but my daughters all turned out very healthy there were no vitamins back in the day when our parents and their parents were born so i do question if they are really needed the reason i am taking them now is i am 30 and i had a mc before this pregnancy so i thought i would give them a go.

They also make prenatals in a gummy form now I believe.  You could ask your doc about them too.

have you tried flintstones chewable vitmains? my doc told me to take 2 of them a day and so far everything has been healthy with the baby

i had horrible nauseas and occassional vomitting at the beginning of my preg so i stopped taking the prenatals because they seemed to make me worse

i would check into that...you need your vitamins while preg
