protein in urine

So I went to the hospital the other night and they told me there was 30 mg of protein in my urine. Is that a lot?? I had to do the 24 hour pee test and they are checking me for pre eclampsia.

I had plus3 protein in mine the highest you can get and i had pre eclampsyia. My bp rocketed and the more worry i done the worse it got. I had my wee dude 3months prematurely xx

Yea I had high protein in my urine and they check you for preaclampsia and diabetes.. I ended up having neither

Yea its weird I never had any normal uti symptoms either but maybe yours is different. Hopefully its not preeclampsia.

They don't think its a uti cuz it doesn't burn when I pee or anything they think I have preeclampsia

With my last pegnancy i had protein in my urine and it turned out to be a uti.

I don't think there is supposed to be any protein in the urine so it seems like a lot.  But if they are doing the 24th urine test you are in good hands and they will have the information to keep baby safe :)
