prozac and pregnancy

I'm 22 years old and am trying to get pregnant, I feel its early but I have pretty bad endometriosis and I know the older you get the harder it is. I also have hypothyroidism and anxiety and depression which is why I'm on lamictal and prozac. Well and levothyroxine for my thyroid. My therapist says I need to take it until the third trimester of my pregnancy. I will obviously not take lamictal, and am on a very low dose of prozac 20mg , but it still scares me. I read an article today that made me feel a lot better about it. If u had a disease would you stop taking what was curing it? I know getting depressed and having major anxiety during pregnancy could probably cause problems , stress a long with other things.I'm going to do what my doctor tells me , but I just want to hear some stories, some opinions. I know its best for me to stay on it, but I just fear something going wrong its stressing me out. :(

Thank you guys ! I wish that pregnancy would just make my hormones go woop and I would be crazy happy and able to stop taking everything , that would be a miracle but one that I'm hoping for . That's really good your son is healthy I don't think I've ever heard a bad story about prozac and pregnancy but I know there's a chance for everyhing.

I quit when I found out I was pregnant. The doc told me it wasn't safe and to only take if the benefits outweigh the risks.. so unless I felt severely depressed I should.come off it. I actually felt better for stopping. My daughters 1 and I haven't touched antidepressants since Oct 2010 xxx

I was on 40mg of Prozac and was taking it through out my pregnancy with my son(when I would remember to take it) and he is a healthy 2 yr old and this pregnancy I personally decided I didn't need it anymore and just stopped taking it...my new dr has no clue I was on it.  My husband thinks I need to get back on it and sometimes I wish I did just stay on it. You need to stay on it unless your dr tells you to stop.

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years. He fully supports me and thinks me staying on the prozac is for the best.I know it could take me years to get pregnant , or it could take months or maybe even a week. Who know I judt know I want to be healthy and my child to be healthy.
