Im pregnant with my 2nd child, my first one was a boy. I know its considered wrong to have a 2nd baby shower for the same sex but I bought all the big stuff with my first son, only things i received for the shower were clothes, bedding, diapers etc...since then the only things I have left are all the baby clothes. I gave away a lot of stuff to friends that needed the help, and also a few of the big things had to be left behind due to limited living quarters. So needless to say if I have another boy, I will be having another baby shower lol. If people come, they come, if not, oh well. I feel like people should look at it like we wouldnt be having a baby shower if we really didnt need the help. Its for the baby anyways :) So i say GO FOR IT!!

Are you throwing it for yourself or did someone offer? And do you have a close, supportive family/friends? I'm having a 2nd baby shower, I had a boy with my 1st, and I'm having a girl, almost 4 years later, so I'm doing another. I'm also doing more of a baby sprinkle than a shower, because we just want some littler things like diapers, wipes, shampoos, etc. My family is very supportive and try to be as helpful as possible, so I'm not too weary about having another!

I'm having one and my last is only 19months but I'm having a girl this time so...I have nothing for her but the big stuff like the crib, but I mean if you don't have anything I would go for it.
