So I had my 1st prenatal apt w/ my beloved ob/gyn's office. Everything went well even though I still feel horrible physically. I'm highrisk so my dr wanted to see me again in a week. I get all the lil pamphlets & prescriptions & blood work. When I get to the front desk to schedule my nxt visit,the receptionist is on the phone. But she's usually very good at multi tasking so I didn't complain. She gave me the card with the apt date & some registration forms & had it neatly folded and clipped together. So a few days go by (mind you I never read the date on the card) and my honey asks when was my next apt. I go rummaging through my purse,find the card and give it to him. Immediately he says.. "so now they're open on Saturday mornings huh?" (My dr is only open mon-thur and has always been that way) I snatch the card from him and look. Sure enough "she" scheduled me for Saturday at 930 am! lol imagine if I had just gone without realizing myself?! I'm already pregnant and scatter-brained. I don't need any help being confused! Tehe. So needless to say I immediately clld and kindly pointed out the blunder. To which,the receptionist replied "Oh you're scheduled the 12th at 1030." So not only was I given the wrong day but,the wrong time too! Sheesh. She acted as if I wasn't looking at the very card in her very hand writing,like it had been MY mistake. But I just chuckled and let it go.

I know right Mama! I'm glad he asked when my apt. Was because I probably wouldntve realized until that day. Lol THEN I would've been p.o'd !

LOL that's funny. I wouldv'e been p.o.ed if I wouldve driven all the way over there on a Saturday lol I live almost an hour away from my Ob's office too. But right now with my pregnancy brain I wouldve went to.
