reflux and pregnancy

hey everybody.. I have been having so much pain in my actual stomach like under sternum that radiates to my back, kind of like a burning, it is incredibly uncomfortable just sitting here.. worse wit eating and even drinking water... I had a positive prego test and there is more to that story.. but the question right now is .... at like 5-6 weeks can the GERD/reflux be this bad due to pregnancy?  I also posted on the gastroenterology forum to see if somebody there experienced this... I am  a little bit of a hypochondriac and like an idiot looked up symptoms on line and the only thing I found was pancreatitis.. so stupid.. now I am giving myself a panic attack about it.. which if I am still pregannt (long story)  that is so not good for the baby.. any input is appreciated!  Thanks!

Yep, heartburn can be from pregnancy.. In the last 3 days it's just hit me and today I'm 10 weeks!

I didn't experience acid reflux or heartburn until about my 20th week. Although my morning sickness did not make me feel that great and I had a lot of burning just from vomitting and whatnot. There is a lot going on in your body right now, but this is something I would mention to your doc. They may have an answer for you! Sorry I couldn't help you out more. <3
