rude doctor ... refuse service

I went to the hospital a while back when I was 6wks 1day....I'm now 10wks 3days.. I was feeling horrible home alone, could barely move.. finally got the strength to drive myself to the hospital.... got there literally crawling thru the e.r. finally I get seen I told the doc my symptoms then mentioned I was pregnant. He then gave me this crazy look, told me there was nothing he could do and on my way home to pick up some benadryl... not even the worst part. He then preceeded to tell me us young kids don't need to be having children out of wedlock, that I should consider abortion,  or I need to be walking down some alter some time soon..... I was shocked and too weak to voice my opinion.. I.e act a fool in the e.r.

It may be legal for a doctor not to treat someone they don't want to, but he in NO way should be saying those things to you. I would definitely report it though. As a doctor he is suppoused to act professional not like an a s s.

It's sad but doctors can refuse to help based on their personal biased. My older sister was basically dying from cancer in her entire reproductive system and the catholic doctor she was referred to refused to perform a hysterectomy and gave her meds to "help" her but she was actually giving her FERTILITY PILLS because we felt another baby would fix her problem!!! So I took her to a new doctor and he was appalled at what happened and gave her an emergency hysterectomy!!!

Wth... He needs to be fired or get the crap slapped out of him. I would have flipped out. What a piece of crap and who iis he to judge you. I would try to find someone to call and report that. And for him to tell you to have a abortion... He needs to go jump off a bridge. I'm sorry you had to deal with that and I hope you get better hun.
