scared for a miscarriage

I am about 9 weeks pregnant and all day today I have been having painful cramping in my lower abdomin. IT seems like it started this morning when I sneezed ... it was the most painful thing ever (minus giving birth) it DEFINITELY was my uterus that hurt when i sneezed, and it was like a pulling, pulsing pain that stopped me in my tracks.

All day now I keep getting pms -like cramps that "pulse". I have drank about a gallon of water (i've heard that can help) but it hasn't helped and i took tylenol. I'm afraid of what I should be looking for as far as pain goes and when I should go to the hospital.

I've had an ultrasound that proved my baby is in my uterus and we saw the heartbeat. It's just that this pain is very uncomfortable and I already have anxiety disorder so I'm just about worried sick already ... any advice???

It sounds like you pulled a muscle. Another term for this is Round Ligament Pain. It is EXCRUCIATING and definitely happens when I sneeze. I wouldn't go to the ER at all. That's so expensive and there's nothing they can do.

Trust me, sounds like round ligament pain!

i agree with threeangels
i had the same thing about 10 wks or so but it was my uterus growing
but if the pains that severe or you start bleeding be sure to go to the ER

This is what I would have done if I were you. But first this could just be your uterus stretching and you will ex[erience alot of that like I did. But it was never very painful. Now if I were you I would be in the ER just for the reasurrance. But that is just me.
