I see stars and colorful little squiggly worms but it's because I have weak eye muscles and at any time could have full retinal detachment because Of my eyes straining so hard and pulling the muscles it gives me a migraine. The pulling on the muscles for me is when I go from light to dark areas or dark to light. And if I'm outside in the sun without my prescribed sunglasses. I once lost vision in my left eye for 3 hours and that's when I went in to figure out what the hell happened.
Very scary that at any time I could go blind in one of my eyes or both and need surgery
Thank you :) after sitting down for a bit it seems to help alot i was pretty active today so i probably wore myself out more than anything!
Do you see stars when you are getting up from a seated position? If so, your blood pressure might need a minute to regulate, which is normal. Even if your pressures run normal most of the time, its not uncommon for them to be on the low side in pregnancy. And like the previous poster mentions, its also not uncommon to feel a bit dizzy as well. If it happens I would sit down for a minute until you feel better, then slowly rise to the standing position, it even helps sometimes to dangle your feet a little over the chair before you stand up completely. Good luck:)
Thank you :) i havent had any problems with my pregnancy and my blood pressure has always been just fine. I just seen more than i have in the past but im sitting down right now to see if it helps so hopefully itll stop soon. Congrats on your new little bundle of joy!
Pregnancy can make you feel dizzy. I had my baby 2 weeks ago and sometimes I still feel dizzy. About the stars, I had that experience during pregnany and I got really scared because there was a spot wher I had like flashing and the it spread to my other eye. They checked my blood pressure and it was fine so my doctor didn't worry about it. You might want to talk to your doctor just to be on the safe side.
